Bumblefoot's recent Little Brother Is Watching album is an eccentric, upbeat collection of epic, modern rock with haunting melodies, huge choruses and witty lyrics about life in the digital age and beyond. The album was composed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Bumblefoot at his own studio, and includes a crowd of 100 fans stomping, chanting and singing backing vocals recorded at a listening party in New York. The day after its release, the album went as high as #4 on the Amazon.com Rock charts in Europe.
Bumblefoot's recent collaborations include rock group Art Of Anarchy (featuring ex-Creed vocalist Scott Stapp replacing former vocalist Scott Weiland, and Disturbed bassist John Moyer) and Fragile Mortals (featuring DMC from the iconic rap group Run DMC and ex-Exodus vocalist Rob Dukes). Bumblefoot is also an accomplished composer whose music is often heard in TV, film and video games including the theme song to VH1's "That Metal Show". Bumblefoot has worked as an adjunct Professor at SUNY Purchase College teaching music production, works with U.S. Embassies around the world on cross-cultural music programs, has his own line of award-winning hot sauces, and works with dozens of international charities visiting orphanages and children's hospitals around the World with guitar in hand.
Guitar wizard Steve Vai has recognized Neil for being one of the top 10 guitar players in the US, winning Guitar Center's Steve Vai Sessions contest. He also opened up for Vai on his Story Of Light Tour and was hand picked by Orianthi as a winner through Talenthouse.com to be a part of Orianthi's "Be My Band" TV show.
From there, Neil was spotted by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and has continued playing with him as well as Orianthi and also sharing the stage with artists such as Richie Sambora, Martina McBride, Michelle Branch, Vanessa Amorosi, Liv Warfield, and many others. Adding on to this success, Neil was chosen by Boss to film the demo videos for the launch of the VB2 pedal. He is also endorsed by Pigtronix, Erie Ball, Dunlop and Seymour Duncan.
In the beginning, Neil, a Texas native, began his career playing in every club he could in the Dallas area. Keeping “Dimebag” Darrell and SRV as inspiration, he cut his teeth the old fashioned way. After a few successes with rock, pop and hip hop groups he was a part of, and gaining valuable touring experience playing his way through the US, Asia, Germany and Kosovo, Neil was ready to push his career further.
Neil’s mission in life is to continue the legacy of the guitar rock genre. With his own upbeat original music, his live show re-introduces the style and passion of guitar players from the golden age of rock. With powerful riffs, beautiful melodies, and a classic meets modern sound, Neil is carrying the torch for a new generation of guitarists!
