Cam’ron is undoubtedly one of the greatest anti-heroes in hip-hop: he’s the man who spawned a thousand memes, drove an unmistakable “Laffy Taffy” Range Rover, wore head-to-toe pink mink in the 2002 Mercedes Benz NY Fashion Week, told Anderson Cooper he wouldn’t snitch on a hypothetical serial killer neighbor, humiliated Bill O’Reilly on his own show, closed out Mark McNairy's runway show wearing custom Dipset capes, and whose face unofficially re-appropriated on everything from orthopedic shoes to Valentine’s Day cards. Cam’ron is truly one of a kind, a paradoxical living legend in pop culture whose point of view as hysterical as it is harrowing and accessible as it is absurd. Unapologetic and unstoppable, Killa Cam is back with a vengeance.
Lou CharLe$' 2014 release of his mixtape “Who Is Lou?, Vol. 1”, which earned local acclaim and was hugely popular among his peers for its lyricism and high energy. “He manages to find his voice and not just make you hear him but actually LISTEN to what he has to say. Vibrant energy is what Lou CharLe$ comes out with SWINGING and he maintains his vibe throughout his project keeping it fun and consistently exceeding his last track.” “Who is Lou?, Vol 1” went on to being named a Top 10 local release of 2014 by Fort Worth Weekly.
After receiving the positive affirmation on the mixtape, Lou released his debut single “RiCH KiD$” which was met with high praise locally. DFW.Com highlighted CharLe$ as a “Top Five Local Act to Keep Your Eyes On”. Lou’s masterpiece Sink or Swim was nominated for Album of The Year by the Fort Worth Weekly earlier in 2015.
Lou followed up on the success of "Sink or Swim" with is project entitled "In Transit." The six song project fully produced by Billboard & Stellar Award Winning producer J. Rhodes serves as a soundtrack for Lou as he makes his way on a journey of self-reflection and exploration of multitude of topics such as ambition, faith, and race relations.
Showcasing his growth as an artist with strong yet candid lyricism. “In Transit” gives a deeper more personal view of Lou CharLe$ and his interpretation of the world around him. Lou carries this intensity throughout the project with varying tones, from darker more ambient sounds to more sonically inviting cuts. "In Transit" received praise from several major entertainment publications including, The Smoking Section, Mechanical Dummy, and Hip Hop Weekly. All Hip Hop named Lou Charle$ a Top 25 2015 Underground Hip Hop Artist.
Lou is currently in the studio working on his upcoming EP as well as, performing frequently in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and other major Texas cities.
