Bob Moses
Bob Moses
Bob Moses, the Vancouver-bred duo consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, came to life in the Brooklyn underground scene in 2012. Early single releases on taste-making electronic label Scissor & Thread led to signing with Domino and the late 2015 release of their debut album Days Gone By.

Meshing guitar licks, a moody smolder and a dash of dance-floor ambience with lyrical depth and classic songwriting, the duo created a sound that appeals equally to club goers and rock music fans. Translating their sound seamlessly to the live performance realm,
years of nonstop global touring - including appearances at every major festival from Glastonbury and Coachella, to EDC, Lollapalooza and beyond - cemented the duo’s reputation as a must see live act. A standout performance on The Ellen Show, a pair of nominations at both the Junos and the Grammys (and a Grammy win), and a top 15 US
Alternative radio hit with "Tearing Me Up,” have further sealed the band’s burgeoning mainstream success.

May 2018 saw the announcement of a headline US tour and the release of track “Heaven Only Knows,” the first new music from the next exciting phase for Bob Moses.
Weval
Weval
Hearing Weval's music for the very first time, you might wonder from what lost vault of a veteran genius these sounds have been pulled: the Dutch duo's incredibly catchy arrangements seem perfused by a rarefied pop magic that only a chosen few have truly mastered. Two obscenely talented youngsters named Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers are the brains and muscle of the operation, dreaming up slow-burning, emotive and highly dynamic electronic music with a taste for danceable drama and epic melodies.

Brimming with powerful synth hooks, rousing rhythmic patterns and expertly juxtaposed intensities, Weval's music lends itself rather well to a live setting - but that doesn't necessarily mean that it follows the prime-time rule-book of constant „in-your-face" power play. Rather opting for a different, much more nuanced approach, Harm and Merijn succesfully adapt their intimate sound cosmos to active dance floors, bringing a heady vibe and lots of flexing bass to clubs and festivals all over Europe.

Debuting in 2013 with the impressive and much sought-after „Half Age EP", Weval have since found a welcoming home with the Kompakt family where the duo nourished their very own brand of crossover pop rapture on the glistening „Easier EP" in 2014. This was followed by the bold and beautiful 2015 offering „It'll Be Just Fine / Grow Up", which saw the two soundsmiths digging deeper into the granularities of electronic funk than ever before. Their sonic expedition moves deeper into uncharted territory in 2016 with the self-titled debut-full length „Weval" - not a mere collection of interchangeable tracks, but an organically flowing record with emotional heft and a narrative thread.
